How to Install macOS Sierra on Your PC with Multibeast 511

How to Install macOS Sierra on Your PC with Multibeast 511

If you want to run macOS Sierra on your PC, you need a tool that can help you create a bootable USB drive and install the necessary drivers and patches. One of the most popular tools for this purpose is Multibeast, a post-installation utility that can make your PC compatible with macOS.

In this article, we will show you how to download and use Multibeast 511, the latest version that supports macOS Sierra 10.12.6. You will need a PC with an Intel processor, a compatible motherboard, a graphics card, and at least 8 GB of RAM. You will also need a Mac or a Hackintosh to download the macOS Sierra installer from the App Store and create the bootable USB drive.

Multibeast 511 Download

Step 1: Download Multibeast 511

You can download Multibeast 511 from the official website of tonymacx86.com, a community of Hackintosh enthusiasts. You will need to register for a free account to access the download link. Alternatively, you can use this Google Drive link to download the zip file directly.

Once you have downloaded the zip file, extract it to your desktop or any other location. You will see a folder called MultiBeast-Sierra-Edition-9.0.1 that contains the Multibeast application and some documentation.

Step 2: Create a Bootable USB Drive with Clover

Before you can use Multibeast, you need to create a bootable USB drive with Clover, a bootloader that can load macOS on your PC. You will need an 8 GB or larger USB flash drive and a Mac or a Hackintosh to do this.

Follow these steps to create the bootable USB drive:

  • Format your USB drive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with GUID Partition Map using Disk Utility.

  • Download the macOS Sierra installer from the App Store and locate it in your Applications folder.

Open Terminal and run the following command to create the bootable USB drive:

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app --nointeraction

  • Replace USB with the name of your USB drive. Enter your password when prompted.

Download Clover from this link and run the installer. Choose your USB drive as the destination and customize the installation options as follows:

- Bootloader: Install boot0af in MBR

- CloverEFI: CloverEFI 64-bits SATA

- Drivers64UEFI: OsxAptioFixDrv-64

- Install RC scripts on target volume

  • - Install Clover Preference Pane

  • Copy the FakeSMC.kext file from the MultiBeast folder to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other on your USB drive. This is a mandatory kext that emulates an Apple System Management Controller (SMC) and allows macOS to boot on your PC.

  • Eject your USB drive and plug it into your PC.

Step 3: Install macOS Sierra on Your PC

Now you are ready to install macOS Sierra on your PC. Follow these steps:

  • Boot your PC from the USB drive by pressing F12 or any other key that brings up the boot menu. Choose the USB drive as the boot device.

  • You will see the Clover boot screen with an option to boot from Install macOS Sierra. Select it and press Enter.

  • You will see the macOS installer screen. Choose your language and click Continue.

  • Go to Utilities > Disk Utility and format your hard drive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with GUID Partition Map. This will erase all data on your hard drive, so make sure you have backed up anything important.

  • Close Disk Utility and click Install macOS. Choose your hard drive as the destination and follow the instructions to complete the installation.

  • Your PC will reboot several times during the installation process. Each time, you will need to boot from the USB drive and choose Boot macOS from [your hard drive name] from the Clover boot screen.

Once the installation is finished, you will see the welcome screen 29c81ba772
