Top Gear USA - Season 2 ((INSTALL))
The second season of Top Gear began airing on History from July 24, 2011 until April 3, 2012. Adam Ferrera, Tanner Foust, Rutledge Wood and The Stig returned as hosts, with the season consisting of sixteen episodes, which aired on a weekly basis.[1] This was the final season to include car reviews and the Power laps and Big Star, Small Car segment, as they were discarded from the programme before the third season.

The season was aired from July 24, 2011 until April 3, 2012 on History, airing on a weekly basis.[1] In the United Kingdom, the season was aired on BBC Three under the name Top Gear USA from January 13, 2012. However, the season halted airing on January 27, before continuing its run on June 29, 2012.
Right off the bat, we have to admit that this week's episode of Top Gear USA->ke3704 was a lot funnier than any other episode this season. The majority of the episode was spent trying to figure out which of the three hosts chose a better luxury car. However, instead of being the long and drawn out segment as found in previous episodes, this challenge made us laugh out loud a few times. The guys were driving around the Hamptons in a 1972 Rolls Royce->ke74 Silver Shadow, a 1982 Jaguar XJS->ke1206, and a 1988 Pontiac Fiero->ke70 turned Ferrari 308->ke3523. Oh yeah, the Hamptonites just loved that.
We were also treated to Maroon 5's Adam Levine as he cruised around the Top gear test track in the show's Suzuki SX4->ke943. His driving may not have been top notch, but he was extremely successful at cursing up a storm.
Top Gear USA->ke3704 is back for its second season and, after watching the first two episodes of The Car Show->ke3905, we were hoping it would start off with a bang. Unfortunately, it was more like a muffled beep.
The only segment in the first episode of the season was a series of challenges trying to convince viewers that pick-up trucks could be replaced by two-door models. The guys ended up choosing a Ford Maverick, a BMW 335E, and a Mazda Miata as their specimens. The challenges were a bit eventful and a little humorous, but overall a bit disappointing.
Maybe Top Gear USA was trying to move away from the mirror image segments from the original Top Gear->ke1860, but this path was not the right one. We just hope that the next episode adds a bit more oomph because, for the first episode of the season, we thought more could have been done to convince viewers that this was the car show to watch.

In each episode, Bovingdon and Corddry team up with Dax Shepard to test the limits of different vehicles. In the season premiere, they attempt to drive a Ford GT Heritage Edition, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport to their top speeds of over 200 mph.
Top Gear America followed 32 seasons of the British series Top Gear. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May were the longtime hosts of the British iteration, which later included Matt LeBlanc and others.
This season, hosts Tanner Foust, Rutledge Wood and Adam Ferrara will participate in a selection of different challenges such as a race coast-to-coast from New York to Los Angeles in their favourite supercars! They include the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale, 2013 SRT Viper and the McLaren 12C!
